Sheded

As every good allotment holder knows, you need a good shed! The previous tennants had managed with a small four foot high 'tool' dump but I needed something a little bigger to store tools, seeds, cloches etc and somewhere to shelter from the inevitable rain that arrives when you start digging!



The shed actually cost more to transport and paint than to buy! It was a cracking ebay deal and although 20 years old, is in great nick. I've also been preparing some of the beds for spring planting by digging them over and removing any weeds. Some of the beds had become quite compacted, so should benefit from the soil being broken up. Also added some general purpose organic compost, wood chip and chicken poo..... lovely!
